Trump to lead ‘large’ White House meeting on Gaza on August 27, Witkoff says

U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff said on Tuesday (August 26, 2025) that President Donald Trump will chair “a large meeting” on Gaza at the White House on Wednesday (August 27, 2025).

Asked if there is a day after plan for Gaza, Witkoff told Fox News‘ Bret Baier: “Yes, we’ve got a large meeting in the White House tomorrow, chaired by the president, and it’s a very comprehensive plan we’re putting together on the next day.”

Mr. Witkoff also said that he will meet with representatives from Ukraine in New York this week as the United States seeks to help end Russia’s war in Ukraine.

“I’m meeting with the Ukrainians this week. So I will be meeting with them this week in New York, and that’s a big signal we talk to the Russians every day,” Mr. Witkoff said on Fox News’ “Special Report” show.
