Marking a poignant milestone, veteran actress Neetu Kapoor celebrated what would have been her husband Rishi Kapoor’s 73rd birthday with a heartfelt tribute that resonated deeply across the film fraternity and among fans.

In her caption, she wrote, “You will always remain in our hearts… happy birthday.”

The shared video became a nostalgic tapestry of love and camaraderie, featuring appearances by close family and friends. Present in the footage were Rishi’s brother Randhir Kapoor, son Ranbir Kapoor, daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, sister Reema Jain, filmmaker Ramesh Sippy, and veteran actor Jeetendra all offering glimpses of their deep affection and fond memories.

Their daughter, Riddhima, joined the heartfelt tributes via her Instagram Story, posting a nostalgic family photograph and sharing her emotions with the words: “We honor you every day Papa. You are cherished, missed, and remembered always. Happy Birthday.”

Rishi Kapoor, celebrated across five decades as one of Bollywood’s most beloved actors, was born on September 4, 1952 and passed away on April 30, 2020, after a prolonged battle with leukemia. He left behind an enduring legacy defined by a diverse array of iconic roles from teen heartthrob in Bobby to acclaimed character parts in later years.

Neetu and Rishi, one of Hindi cinema’s most cherished couples, married in 1980 and shared a life that interwove love with the creativity of their iconic careers.
