Stephane Deblaise appointed CEO of Renault Group India to lead strategic growth

Renault Group has appointed Stephane Deblaise as Chief Executive Officer of Renault Group India, effective September 1, 2025. In this role, Deblaise will be responsible for defining and executing the Group’s strategy in India, with all Renault Group entities in the country reporting to him.Deblaise will report directly to Francois Provost, Renault Group Chief of Procurement, Partnerships and Public Affairs Officer.
Venkatram Mamillapalle, Managing Director of Renault India Private Limited, will continue his current role and support Deblaise on corporate affairs in India to help develop the Group’s mid-term growth strategy in the region.
Stephane Deblaise, 52, graduated from Telecom Physique Strasbourg and IFP School. He began his career at Saft Batteries and joined Renault Group in 2000 as an Advanced Process Engineer.Over the past 20 years, he has held several key roles worldwide, including Chief Vehicle Engineer for the Entry Program in Latin America, Vice President of Product Planning and Programs at Dongfeng-Renault in China, Worldwide C&D Segment Program Director in France, and Vice President of Renault Group Vehicles and Cross Car Line Program.

Since 2022, Deblaise has been CEO of Renault Korea. There, he led major transformation projects, positioning the company as a global hub for mid- and large-sized vehicles and modernising the Busan plant for multi-energy vehicle production.
