President’s visit: Entry of tourists to Mysuru palace restricted on Sept 1 and 2


The entry of tourists to Mysuru palace on September 1 and 2 has been restricted in view of President Droupadi Murmu’s visit.

A statement from the office of Executive Officer, Mysuru Palace Board, Mysuru, said that President Murmu is scheduled to visit the Mysuru palace on September 2.

In view of the security arrangements and protocol, entry of tourists to Mysuru palace has been barred for the entire day on September 1 and from 10 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. on September 2. The Sound and Light Programme held at Mysuru Palace on September 1 evening has also been cancelled, the statement said.

Entry of tourists into Mysuru palace will be allowed as usual from 11.30 a.m. on September 2, the statement added.
