Mumbai witnessed a wave of nostalgia as international pop sensation Enrique Iglesias performed live in the city, making fans groove and sing along to his iconic love songs. As many as over 25,000 fans turned up at the MMRDA grounds to witness the special event. The concert wasn’t just a musical evening, but it was an emotional throwback for an entire generation that grew up listening to ‘Hero’, ‘Bailamos’, and ‘Escape’.

Those seen at the concert were Vidya Balan, Rakul Preet Singh-Jackky Bhagnani, Malaika Arora, Shriya Saran, Elli AvrRam and others. Among those reliving their teenage dreams much-loved couple, Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary, who turned the concert into a beautiful walk down memory lane.

Vidya was seen in a relaxed attire involving a pair of jeans and shirt. Malaika wore a simple white top as she looked immersed while grooving to the tracks being played. Rakul and Jackky were all smiles while grooving at the concert. Reality-TV favourite couple Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla were spotted having fun at the gig, clearly enjoying the Latin-pop nostalgia.

Gurmeet showed off his fit frame in a pair of jeans and a sleeveless ganji, while Debina kept it casual and chic in a crop top and pants. They shared a reel of the same on Instagram and wrote, “Watching this concert together, our teenage hero live ✨ Alone at our own times, and now together in this moment ???????????? That’s how destiny plays, that’s how relationships stay, that’s how love grows ???????? An era of memories unlocked and it was all worth it ❤️ Thank you @enriqueiglesias, you be the best ❤️‍????”

Iglesias delivered a high-octane set spanning his classic hits, interacting with the crowd and embracing the night’s energy. For the Bollywood crowd, the evening became as much about socialising and being seen as it was about music. With the legends-meets-pop show seemingly ticking all the boxes, it was, by all accounts, a night to remember.
