Calling the GST revision a progressive and timely decision, Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. & Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., said the company will fully honour the intent and spirit of this reform by passing on the benefits to customers. “This will make our range of cars and SUVs more accessible across segments, enabling first-time buyers and accelerating the shift towards new-age mobility for a wider spectrum of customers,” he said.
The timing of the price cut is significant as it coincides with India’s peak automobile sales season, with demand traditionally surging around festivals such as Navratri and Diwali. Tata Motors has urged customers to book early to secure deliveries, anticipating high demand following the price corrections.
