Afghan quake victims buried on mountain top as aftershocks continue

Some people killed during a earthquake in Afghanistan had to be buried on a mountain top, because it was too difficult to cross the terrain and get their bodies down, the BBC has been told.

More than 800 people died in the 6.0 magnitude quake in eastern Afghanistan, which was followed by a 5.2 magnitude quake the following day.

The BBC’s Yama Bariz travelled to the Devagul Valley to see the extent of the devastation and speak to locals about their experience.
