Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s bonhomie with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping has stolen the spotlight at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit on Sunday amid looming US tariff tensions.
The three world leaders shared hugs, handshakes, and laughter at the two-day summit in northern China’s Tianjin.
Xi said the summit had set a model for a new type of international relations, and unequivocally opposes external interference.
