Donald Trump withdraws Kamala Harris’s Secret Service protection: White House
A White House official confirmed on Friday that the Trump administration has withdrawn Secret Service protection for former Vice President Kamala Harris.
The decision ends an extension previously authorised by then-President Joe Biden, which had prolonged Harris’s security detail beyond the standard six-month period accorded to former vice presidents. That protection formally expired on 21 July, according to a report by CNN.
