Ahmedabad police rescues 39 children found in vulnerable conditions

The initiative was carried out by the Crime Branch with support from the Mahila Cell, Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU), and various zonal police stations. Officials said the drive focused on identifying children at risk and ensuring their immediate protection.
The police said such special drives had been conducted in the past as well, reflecting the department’s ongoing efforts to safeguard children.
Authorities confirmed that steps were being taken in coordination with child welfare organisations to provide rehabilitation and support for the rescued children.
The Ahmedabad City Police stated that similar efforts would continue to prevent child exploitation and promote safety.
