Students of various colleges, women and Sachivalayam staff organised rallies on Friday to extend support to the Indian Armed Forces as tensions escalate between India and Pakistan.

AP Sachivalayam staff expressed solidarity with the armed forces who are fighting on the frontline. “After the Pahalgam terror attack, in which 26 tourists were killed by the terrorists on April 22, Pakistan is provoking India and creating tensions along the LoC,” said one Sashi, who participated in the rally.

Members of the Loyola Walkers Association organised a rally at Benz Circle and raised slogans against the terrorist groups and condemned the attacks. Lawyers carrying the tri-colour took out a rally at Jangareddygudem in Eluru district.

The students paid tributes to Agniveer Murali Naik, a native of Sri Satya Sai district, who was martyred in the ongoing ‘Operation Sindoor’, on Wednesday. They expressed condolences to the bereaved family members. “We lost a brave soldier in the operation,” said a student Sri Latha.
