WagonR, Alto K10, Celerio, Eeco get six airbags, match safety of Swift and Brezza

The upgrade includes dual front, side, and curtain airbags, plus 3-point seat belts with reminders for all seats, matching the safety features of other ARENA models like Swift, Dzire, and Brezza.

Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer at Maruti Suzuki India, highlighted the growing need for better safety due to India’s expanding roads and high-speed expressways.
“By making six airbags standard in these popular models, we’re ensuring safer travel for many drivers and passengers,” he said.

The models also feature safety technologies like Electronic Stability Control (ESP), Hill Hold Assist, and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD).

Maruti Suzuki launched a campaign with activities like Zorbing and Bubble Football to raise awareness about the benefits of six airbags.

These updated models are available at Maruti Suzuki ARENA dealerships nationwide. Premium models like Grand Vitara and Invicto are sold through Nexa outlets.
