
Homegrown automaker Tata Motors, in collaboration with its official distributor Al Hamad Automobiles, on Wednesday, launched the all-new LPO 1622 bus in Qatar. Designed specifically for staff transportation, the LPO 1622 is Tata Motors’ first Euro VI-compliant bus introduced in the Middle East.The bus is powered by a Cummins ISBe 5.6-litre engine that meets Euro VI emission standards, producing 220 hp and 925 N · m of torque. It is available in two seating layouts—65-seater and 61-seater—to meet different transport needs.
Key safety and performance features include a full air dual-circuit braking system with ABS, tubeless radial tyres, and a heavy-duty suspension system. The bus also comes with Electronic Stability Control, Hill Start Assist, Cruise Control, and a Multimode Switch to adjust performance in various conditions.

The range includes the Prima 4040.K, 4440.S, 4040.T, and 6040.S.
