
This is the first time cowl models include air conditioning. The air-conditioning system offers Eco and Heavy modes for efficient cooling. The company has also upgraded its trucks with power outputs up to 320hp, improved fuel efficiency through smart technology, and features like engine idle auto-shut and a voice messaging system for real-time alerts.
“The introduction of air-conditioned cabins and cowls marks a significant step towards building a comfortable working environment for drivers, enabling higher productivity,” said Mr. Rajesh Kaul, Vice President and Business Head – Trucks, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles.
“In addition to complying with the regulatory requirements, we have leveraged this opportunity to deliver long-term value with a host of enhancements. These upgrades, shaped by extensive customer feedback, and backed by smart engineering, are designed to minimise impact on total cost of ownership, ensuring greater profitability for fleet owners.”
Tata Motors claims to support a commercial vehicle range with over 3,000 service touchpoints and the Sampoorna Seva 2.0 initiative, which offers complete vehicle lifecycle management, including roadside assistance, guaranteed service turnaround times, annual maintenance contracts, and access to genuine spare parts.
