Commenting on the launch, Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer at Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., said, “What makes the Harrier.ev truly remarkable is that it offers all this at price parity with ICE-powered vehicles, while surpassing them in performance, capability, technology, and safety.”
The Harrier.ev is available in five RWD personas. The Adventure 65 is priced at ₹21.49 lakh, while the Adventure S 65 comes in at ₹21.99 lakh. The Fearless+ 65 is priced at ₹23.99 lakh, and the Fearless+ 75 is priced at ₹24.99 lakh. The top-end RWD variant, Empowered 75, is priced at ₹27.49 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom).”With the prices announced today, we’re not only taking a significant step forward in advancing e-mobility in India, but also offering a strong alternative to traditional ICE-powered vehicles,” Srivatsa added.
However, it should be noted that these prices do not include the cost of the charger and installation. In addition to this, buyers can opt for an AC fast charger at an additional cost.
The Harrier.ev is equipped with a 75kWh battery pack that offers an ARAI-certified range of 627 kilometres, with an estimated real-world range between 480 to 505 kilometres. The vehicle supports fast charging, with the ability to add up to 250 kilometres of range in just 15 minutes.
In terms of performance, the dual-motor setup delivers a total torque of 504 Nm and allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds, which the company claims is the best in its segment.
The QWD variant offers enhanced off-road capability, supported by six terrain modes and a 540-degree surround view system. Suspension and ride quality are managed through an Ultra Glide Suspension system with frequency-dependent damping.
The cabin features a 36.9 cm (14.53-inch) infotainment display by Harman, powered by Samsung’s Neo QLED technology, making it the world’s first automotive Neo QLED display. The audio system includes ten JBL speakers with JBL audio modes and Dolby Atmos.
Additional convenience features include e-Valet Auto Park Assist, a digital key called Digi Access, and a payment feature called DrivePay. Tata Motors is also offering a lifetime warranty on the battery pack for the first private individual owner of the Harrier.ev.
