JLR has launched the ultra-exclusive Range Rover SV Masara Edition in India at ₹4.99 crore. Limited to just 12 units, all sold out, it features a sapphire-inspired satin blue finish.

Exclusive Launch: JLR introduced the Range Rover SV Masara Edition in India, priced at ₹4.99 crore (ex-showroom). Limited to 12 units, all sold out at launch, this model draws inspiration from Himalayan blue sapphires. The name Masara, a Sanskrit term for sapphires, reflects its unique deep satin blue colour. It’s the second India-specific Range Rover, following the Ranthambore Edition launched last year.

Unique Exterior: The Masara Edition features a deep satin blue exterior, exclusive to this model. It includes silver chrome and Corinthian Bronze trim. The SUV rides on 23-inch Oblivion 1077 diamond-turned alloy wheels with gloss dark grey contrast and black brake callipers. This distinct colour and trim combination ensures the vehicle stands out, maintaining exclusivity for its 12 owners.

Luxury Interior: The cabin has a two-tone Liberty Blue and Perlino leather interior. It includes the SV Signature Suite, making it a four-seater with reclining seats and ottomans. Burr Veneer, white ceramic trim, and noble jewellery accents enhance the design. Embroidered seats, personalised scatter cushions, and SV Bespoke tread plates marked “Masara Edition” and “1 of 12” highlight its exclusivity.

Special Features: The SV Signature Suite offers a powered club table, deployable cupholders, and a refrigerator with SV-etched glassware. The Masara Edition includes air suspension, a panoramic roof, and advanced driver assistance systems. Powered seats provide heating, cooling, and massage functions. These features cater to luxury and comfort, tailored specifically for the Indian market’s preferences.

Strong Performance: A 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine powers the Masara Edition, producing 606 bhp and 750 Nm of torque. It features an 8-speed automatic transmission, delivering power to all four wheels. Equipped with a high/low-range gearbox and off-road adaptive cruise control, the SUV handles tough terrains while maintaining its focus on luxury.

India Focus: The Masara Edition is JLR’s second Range Rover designed for India, after the Ranthambore Edition. Its exclusive deep satin blue colour, inspired by Himalayan sapphires, won’t appear on other Range Rover models.
