
Prime Video today announced the exclusive India premiere of Conclave, a BAFTA Award winning and Oscar-nominated film based on the 2016 novel by Robert Harris. Directed by Edward Berger and jointly written by Peter Straughan and Robert Harris, the film boasts an award-winning cast with names like Ralph Fiennes, Stanley Tucci, Isabella Rossellini, Jacek Koman, Lucian Msamati, and John Lithgow.

With a celebrated premiere at the 51st Telluride Film Festival and a dream run in the theatres globally, Conclave was named one of the top films of 2024 by the American Film Institute. The critically-acclaimed, award-winning film will now be available to stream exclusively on Prime Video in India, starting today, May 7.
Conclave is a gripping political-thriller that follows Cardinal Lawrence (Ralph Fiennes) who is tasked to head one of the world’s most secretive and ancient events — selecting the new Pope. In charge of running this covert process after the unexpected death of the beloved Pope, Cardinal Lawrence gets embroiled in secrets and conspiracies that threaten to weaken the foundations of the ancient institution.
Once the Catholic Church’s most powerful leaders gather from around the world and are locked together in the Vatican halls, Lawrence uncovers the mysteries left in the wake of the Pope’s death, trying his hardest to hold together the threads that could unravel the centuries-old legacy of the church.
Conclave released in theatres in India exactly three months ago on February 7. It received positive reviews from critics and audience alike.
