In a big week for electric mobility, Tata Motors and Suzuki have each taken bold steps into the electric vehicle (EV) spotlight. Tata’s much-anticipated Harrier EV has been put through a series of off-road challenges, testing the limits of its rear-wheel and all-wheel (or “quad-wheel”) drive options.Overdrive’s Tuhin Kanta took the wheel to assess whether the SUV lives up to its performance promises — and early signs suggest it just might.

Meanwhile, Suzuki has unveiled its first electric scooter for the Indian market, the eAccess. Designed for urban commuters, the eAccess made its debut on a test track, offering a glimpse into how it could handle on everyday Indian roads.
