
Bajaj Auto Sales
In an exchange filing published on Monday, June 2, the two-wheeler major reported a rise in its monthly total sales numbers. In May, Bajaj Auto sold 3,84,621 units of two-wheelers, marking an 8% rise compared to the 3,55,323 units it sold in May last year.
Bajaj Auto also sold more commercial vehicles in May, compared to last year. Commercial Vehicle sales stood at 52,251 units, a growth of 5% compared to 49,841 units in May 2024.
The Pune-based company’s primary segment of two-wheelers also saw sales increase to 3,32,370 units compared to the previous 3,05,482 units last year.
While there was a marginal rise in domestic sales, the export numbers rose by 22%.
For the first two months of the financial year 2026, overall sales for Bajaj Auto stood at 7,50,431 units from 7,43,579 units.
Bajaj Auto’s March quarter revenue increased 5.9% from last year to ₹2,049.3 crore, while revenue increased by a similar quantum year-on-year to ₹12,148 crore.
Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) for the quarter stood at ₹2,450.6 crore. This marked a rise of 6.2% from ₹2,306 crore a year ago and was higher than the estimated ₹2,406 crore.
Shares of Bajaj Auto are trading 2% lower on Monday at ₹8,433.5. The stock is down more than 35% from its 52-week high of ₹12,774, which it had hit on September 27 last year.
