
Four-classroom block inaugurated at Government High School at Varichiyur in Madurai district on Monday, by Round Table India.

As one of the classrooms has facilities of a smart room, with the installation of a projector and smart board, the remaining rooms were provided with necessities like benches, chairs and black boards.
With the new addition of four classrooms, it is believed to benefit more than 250 students. Further, it would also help in the intake of more students in upcoming academic years, said organisers.
The initiative of the Round Table India was carried out under the Freedom Through Education (FTE) programme, they added.
From the beginning of FTE programme in 1998, more than 7,700 classrooms were built to benefit about 80 lakh children.
Madurai City Round Table 99 Chairman Kumaran Mahendran, Madurai City Ladies Circle 60 – Chairperson Pallavi Manickavel, among others were present during the inauguration.
