Lightning strikes two farm women to death in Belagavi

A farm woman and her daughter died when they were struck by lightning in Hittanagi village near Saundatti in Belagavi district on Sunday.

Gangavva Jiragiwad and her daughter Kalavati died when they were walking home from their field, carrying haystack. Their bodies were found later. Saundatti Police reached the spot to complete legal formalities.
