Special Edition Introduced: Jeep India, on Monday, unveiled the Wrangler Willys ’41 Special Edition, a limited-run model celebrating the brand’s heritage. Only 30 units are available across the country, making it a rare offering. This SUV targets off-road enthusiasts and Jeep fans who value history and performance.

Pricing Details Shared: The Wrangler Willys ’41 Special Edition is priced at ₹73.16 lakh (ex-showroom). Built on the Rubicon variant, it carries a premium of ₹1.51 lakh over the standard model, highlighting its exclusive features and limited availability. Customers can visit Jeep dealerships to explore this special edition while it’s available.

Tribute to Military Past: This edition draws inspiration from the 1941 Willys MB, a Jeep used in World War II. The design honours the vehicle’s military service and Jeep’s role in history. By combining past and present, the Willys ’41 appeals to those who appreciate the brand’s origins while enjoying modern capabilities.

New Colour Exclusive: The SUV introduces a “41 Green” paint, a nod to the original Willys’ military green. This colour is exclusive to the Willys ’41 and not offered on other Wrangler models in India. Alongside this unique shade, standard colours like white, black, red, and grey are also available for buyers.

Signature Hood Decal: A “1941” decal on the hood marks the year the Willys MB entered mass production. This detail sets the special edition apart and reinforces its historical connection. The decal, combined with the military-inspired design, makes the SUV instantly recognisable as a tribute to Jeep’s wartime legacy.

Enhanced Practical Features: The Willys ’41 comes with power-operated side steps for easier access and all-weather floor mats for durability. Grab handles assist passengers, while front and rear dashcams add safety on and off the road.

Optional Adventure Accessories: Buyers can opt for an adventure pack priced at ₹4.56 lakh. It includes a Sunrider rooftop for open-air driving and a side ladder with a roof carrier for extra storage. These accessories also enhance the SUV’s rugged look, appealing to those seeking adventure-ready features.

Unchanged Powertrain Specs: The Willys ’41 retains the standard Wrangler Rubicon’s 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, producing 270 hp and 400 Nm of torque. It’s paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a full-time 4×4 system, including locking differentials and low-range gearing.

Brand Director’s Remarks: Kumar Priyesh, Brand Director of Jeep India, described the Willys ’41 as a tribute to Jeep’s legacy of freedom and adventure. He said, “The Wrangler Willys ‘41 Special Edition is more than a vehicle—it’s a tribute to Jeep’s timeless legacy of freedom, adventure, and authenticity. Inspired by the original spirit of the Willys, this exclusive edition blends heritage with bold individuality, allowing passionate Jeepers to make a statement that’s both personal and iconic.”
