Telugu actor Akhil Akkineni, son of superstar Nagarjuna and Amala, tied the knot with entrepreneur Zainab Ravdjee in a private and traditional wedding ceremony held in Hyderabad on Friday, June 6. The ceremony took place at the Akkineni family home during the early morning muhurat of 3:35 am, attended only by close family and friends.

The Akkineni family later hosted a grand wedding reception for South Indian film industry celebrities. The picture were shared by the official handle of Annapurna Studios (owned by the Akkinenis) as the celebration saw a glittering guest list. Among those who graced the occasion were Kannada superstar Yash, Ram Charan and wife Upasana, Tamil superstar Suriya, Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar along with their daughter Sitara, Venkatesh Daggubati, Nani with wife Anjana Yelavarthy, Nikhil Siddhartha, Sudheer Babu, Allari Naresh, Adivi Sesh, Kichcha Sudeepa with wife Priya, and several prominent producers like Allu Aravind, Dil Raju, and Ashwini Dutt.
Pictures from both the intimate wedding and the lavish reception were shared by Annapurna Studios’ official Instagram handle, giving fans a glimpse into the Akkineni family’s joyous celebration.
Meanwhile, Nagarjuna yet again penned an emotional note on social media (in the same way he did for Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala’s wedding) and wrote on X (formerly Twitter) saying, “With immense joy, Amala and I are delighted to share that our dear son has married his beloved Zainab in a beautiful ceremony (3:35 am) at our home, where our hearts belong. We watched a dream come true surrounded by love, laughter, and those dearest to us. We seek your blessings as they begin this new journey together. With love and gratitude.”
