Hyundai Ioniq 6 Unveiled: Hyundai introduced the updated Ioniq 6 at the 2025 Seoul Mobility Show. This electric sedan was first launched worldwide in 2022. The facelift brings changes to its exterior design. Alongside it, Hyundai presented a new N Line variant for a sportier option.

Shark Nose Design: The Ioniq 6 facelift features a front end shaped like a shark’s nose. Thin LED daytime running lights are placed near the bonnet’s edge. The main headlamps sit lower, built into the redesigned bumper. A broader grille and larger air intakes improve airflow and appearance.

Rear Styling Updates: At the back, the Ioniq 6 keeps its full-width LED light bar. A prominent ducktail spoiler now extends from the boot lid. Chrome trim decorates the rear bumper for added detail. The previous twin-spoiler setup has been replaced with this single-spoiler design.

N Line Details: The Ioniq 6 N Line takes cues from the RN22e Rolling Lab concept unveiled in 2022. Its front and rear bumpers have a bolder, more angular look. The rear uses extensive black finishes for contrast. Two-dimensional Parametric Pixel taillamps provide a modern lighting signature.

Interior Enhancements: Inside, the facelifted Ioniq 6 has a new three-spoke steering wheel for better grip. Door trims use higher-quality materials than before. The centre console layout has been adjusted for easier access. A bigger display for climate controls improves visibility and operation.

Powertrain Unchanged: Hyundai has not shared updates on the powertrain for this facelift. The current Ioniq 6 offers two battery sizes: 53 kWh and 77.4 kWh. Rear-wheel drive versions produce 149 BHP with the smaller battery and 225 BHP with the larger one. The all-wheel drive option, available only with the 77.4 kWh battery, delivers 320 BHP.

Ioniq 6 N Teaser: During the presentation, Hyundai teased the upcoming Ioniq 6 N model. This high-performance version will be fully revealed in July 2025. The teaser highlights a unique rear with updated LED tail lamps. It also shows a large rear wing for improved aerodynamics.

Exterior Refinements: The facelift refines the Ioniq 6’s exterior with a smoother bonnet and fender lines. The old single-piece headlamps are now split into separate units. Active vents along the bumper’s bottom edge help with cooling. Black sections on the bumper create a sharper contrast with the body.
