GITAM Deemed to be University inks MoU with Penn State University

GITAM Deemed to be University has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Penn State University (PSU), Pennsylvania, USA, to explore collaborative opportunities in research, teaching and education.

The MoU was signed during the PSU delegation’s visit to the GITAM campus here on Saturday.

The PSU team, led by Chancellor David M. Callejo Pérez and Interim Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Vahid Motevalli, held discussions with GITAM’s leadership team including Pro Vice-Chancellor Y. Gouthama Rao, GIMSR Pro Vice-Chancellor B. Geetanjali, Registrar and D. Gunasekharan.

Prof. Gunasekharan announced that GITAM is planning to launch a School of Education by the academic year 2026–27.

Prof. David M. Callejo Pérez shared a brief profile of Penn State University and assured that PSU is committed to creating a welcoming and productive academic environment for Indian students.
