Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan have called Mannat their home for over 25 years. The iconic sea-facing bungalow in Mumbai’s Bandstand area was officially named Mannat in 2001, shortly before Shah Rukh delivered some of the most defining films of his career. Now, for the first time since moving in, the couple has temporarily shifted to another residence due to ongoing renovations at Mannat.

Gauri Khan confirms Mannat makeover will take another year: “It’s shaping up really well”The Khans are currently staying at an upscale Bandra apartment in Puja Casa, a building owned by filmmaker Vashu Bhagnani. According to reports, the rent for the apartment stands at Rs 24 lakh per month. The move is said to be temporary, while Mannat undergoes extensive upgrades to make it “bigger and better.”

Gauri Khan, in a recent interview with News18, gave an update on the progress of the renovation. “It’s shaping up really well,” she said, adding, “I think another year to go.”

Beyond being a producer and entrepreneur, Gauri Khan has steadily carved a name for herself in the world of interior design. Reflecting on her journey, she said, “I’ve spent a fair share of time learning on the job. I’ve always been fortunate to have my passion be my profession, so it’s never really felt like work.” She also shared her thoughts on the growing presence of women in business, noting, “It’s great to see more and more women thriving in business, from just starting to being at the top of the game.”
