Bipul Chandra, Managing Director of Ducati India, called it “a bold expression of racing heritage and freedom” for riders seeking individuality and performance. Inspired by flat-track racing, the motorcycle features a black and bronze livery, side number ’62’, and a low-variable cross-section handlebar.
Powered by an 803 cc L-Twin engine delivering 73 hp at 8,250 rpm and 65.2 Nm at 7,000 rpm, it includes a 6-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quick-shifter and a Termignoni exhaust.
The bike rides on a 41 mm KYB USD fork and a KYB monoshock, both with 150 mm travel, and features an 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy with Pirelli MT60 tires. Braking is managed by a 330 mm front disc with a 4-piston calliper and a 245 mm rear disc, supported by Bosch cornering ABS.
The Scrambler Full Throttle sports a flatter 795 mm single-piece seat, a 4.3-inch TFT display, and electronic aids including ride-by-wire, two riding modes (Road and Sport), traction control, and smartphone connectivity.
Safety features include switchable cornering ABS and four-level adjustable traction control. A full LED lighting system with an X-shaped DRL enhances visibility.
Weighing 176 kg without fuel, the motorcycle offers a lightweight chassis and a range of accessories like exhausts, seats, coloured covers, machined components, and soft bags.
Ducati, an Italian brand founded in 1926, has operated in India since 2015, and caters to the premium motorcycle market with its Scrambler line, reintroduced globally in 2015 for its retro-modern appeal.
