Delhi govt. to hold job fair in July: Kapil Mishra

Labour Minister Kapil Mishra said on Thursday that the Delhi government will organise a job fair in July to bring job seekers and hiring companies together.

While holding the Labour Department meeting, Mr Mishra directed the officials to collect data on students seeking placements from all technical and educational institutions and universities in the city.

He also asked the officials to contact the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DICCI), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), PHD Chamber of Commerce, and other prominent institutions for recruiting students.

According to an official, the Minister has called a meeting next week to select the venue for the job fair and discuss the number of students and companies participating.
