
Chief Minister M. K. Stalin virtually inaugurated a 32-unit apartment built by the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board (TNUHDB) in Karur on May 20.
Situated in Velambadi in Aravakurichi taluk and built at a cost of ₹2.95 crore, the dwelling units would be allotted to people from Aravakurichi and Pallapatti municipalities. Each dwelling unit has a kitchen, bathroom, and toilet facilities. The necessary drinking water and sanitation facilities had been provided, said a press release.
Karur Collector M. Thangavel, Member of Parliament S. Jothimani, and Member of Legislative Assembly R. Ilango were present.
