
Highlights of the week include the Mercedes-Benz Vision V, Ducati Scrambler Full Throttle and Kia K4 hatchback, among others.
Mercedes-Benz Vision V
Mercedes-Benz introduced its latest luxurious concept vehicle, Vision V. Built on the Van Electric Architecture (VAN.EA) platform, this new model previews a high-end van series. It has modes like Entertainment for streaming, Relax for calming visuals, Work for mobile office tasks, and Gaming for virtual driving. The vehicle maintains a boxy van shape with a modern look, featuring an illuminated Mercedes logo, LED headlights linked by a light bar and a redesigned grille with chrome accents. The company intends to launch the Vision V in 2026.
Kia K4 hatchback
South Korean car manufacturer Kia unveiled its K4 hatchback, marking its first complete reveal after a teaser last year. This vehicle joins the K4 sedan sold in international markets. The Kia K4 hatchback measures 4,431mm in length, 279mm shorter than the 4,710mm K4 sedan. It will get two engine options: a 2.0-litre NA petrol engine and a 1.6-litre turbo engine.
2025 MG Hector
JSW MG Motor has launched the 2025 iteration of the Hector in India, with a starting price of ₹13.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The model has been introduced without any changes in the design, but the brand has modified the powertrain to make it E20 fuel-compliant. It comes with two engine options: a 1.5-litre turbo petrol and a 2.0-litre diesel engine. The vehicle is available in six variants: Style, Shine Pro, Select Pro, Smart Pro, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro.
Ducati Scrambler Full Throttle
Ducati India launched the 2025 Scrambler Full Throttle with a price of ₹12.6 lakh (ex-showroom). It is powered by an 803 cc L-Twin engine that produces 73 hp at 8,250 rpm and 65.2 Nm at 7,000 rpm. It also has a 6-speed transmission, bi-directional quick-shifter, and Termignoni exhaust. The motorcycle, weighing 176 kg without fuel, features a lightweight chassis and a variety of accessories such as exhausts, seats, coloured covers, machined components and soft bags.
2025 TVS Apache RR310
Hosur-based two-wheeler manufacturer TVS has introduced the updated Apache RR310 to the Indian market. With a starting price tag of ₹2.77 lakh (ex-showroom), it is fully compliant with strict OBD-2B norms. The latest model comes with features like launch control, sequential TSL, 8-spoke alloys, cornering drag torque control, gen-2 race computer, and others. The model carries the same 312.2cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine.
2025 Kawasaki Ninja 650
Kawasaki India launched the 2025 Ninja 650, priced at ₹7.27 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike gets the standard green base with an addition of white, yellow and black, without any change in the overall design and shape. The 2025 Ninja 650 continues to use the same 649cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine, which is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
