Track Special: Aston Martin introduced the Valkyrie LM, a track-only homologation special hypercar. It marks the brand’s return to Le Mans since its 1959 DBR1 victory. Production is limited to ten units. The LM model is based on the Valkyrie Hypercar and tailored for club-level endurance racing. This version removes hybrid systems to focus on naturally aspirated engine performance.

Pure V12: The LM uses a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated Cosworth V12. The output is detuned to 697 bhp to meet Le Mans Hypercar limits. The removal of the electric motor cuts weight and complexity. This setup improves drivability for amateur drivers. The engine drives the rear wheels through a seven-speed sequential gearbox.

Regulation Fit: The Valkyrie LM complies with Le Mans Hypercar regulations. Hybrid plumbing is omitted to reduce moving parts. Ballast and FIA-regulated electronics are removed. Closed-loop software is replaced with open-loop torque control. Adjustable dampers are tuned specifically for circuit use.

Chassis Setup: The chassis retains a pushrod double-wishbone suspension with adjustable side and central dampers. The seven-speed sequential gearbox is unchanged from the race car. The carbon-fibre monocoque structure supports the suspension. This package matches the setup used at La Sarthe for competition.

Electronics Cut: Electronics have been simplified with open-loop torque control replacing complex software. Torque sensors used in FIA-level cars are omitted. The cockpit interface is reworked for ease of use. Integrated driver display and shift lights remain in place for feedback.

Fuel Mapping: Fuel mapping is recalibrated for consumer-grade fuels, removing the need for exotic gasoline. The engine can run on track day fuel available at commercial stations. This change ensures easy refuelling without special logistics or race-only fuel.

Safety Focus: The Valkyrie LM has carbon-fibre FIA-rated race seats and six-point racing harnesses. A fire suppression system is installed. Cockpit ergonomics are improved for rapid entry and exit. Visibility enhancements aid in endurance driving. All safety features meet FIA standards.

Driver Program: Buyers receive a full development program that includes tailored coaching and simulator sessions. Physical training is offered alongside a complete safety kit. The package covers helmets, HANS devices, racing suits, gloves, boots, and fireproof undergarments. Turnkey support covers all machinery and equipment.

Race Variant: The LM is derived from the hypercar racing at the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans. It shares chassis, suspension, and bodywork with Aston Martin’s WEC and IMSA entries. Race-specific ballast is removed. The ultra-exclusive race variant is available to ten customers.

Owner Support: Aston Martin provides storage and transport for the cars and a team of engineers for setup and maintenance at track days. Professional driver coaches guide owners on the circuit. Classroom sessions and data analysis support performance. The program offers a fly-in-and-drive experience.

Delivery Schedule: Owners will first drive their cars at an exclusive handover event in Q2 2026. Further track days at F1-standard circuits follow in Q3 and Q4 2026. A special evening at Aston Martin’s Gaydon headquarters is set for year-end. Deliveries align with the Valkyrie LM Performance Club program.
