Ashoka University Professor Ali Mahmudabad challenges arrest in Supreme Court. Matter to be taken up in a day or two

Ashoka University professor Ali Khan Mahmudabad has moved Supreme Court challenging his arrest for social media posts related to Operation Sindoor.

Senior advocate Kapil Sibal mentions the matter before a bench headed by Chief Justice BR Gavai for early hearing of the case. Supreme Court says matter will be listed for hearing on May 20 or 21.
